AWE2025 has come and gone. There were 161 attendees from 90 churches, representing 12 nations. And out of which almost 75% were first timers. We give thanks to the Lord that Archippus Awakening is able to reach out to this group of people eager to know and fulfil their God-given Kingdom assignments by making themselves ready in these tumultuous times.
MAKE READY
AWE2025’s theme was MAKE READY, taken from Revelation 19:7.
“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” Rev 19:7
In this verse, we are told that His Bride (the Church) has “made herself ready” to meet the Lamb, her Bridegroom who is the King of Kings. Note: The Bride plays an active part preparing to receive Him.

As participant Christine Lim (Cornerstone Community Church) shared, “Esther spent 12 months preparing herself to meet King Xerxus who was an important king but only an early one. How much more should we prepare to meet the King of Kings and Lord of Lords?”
However, is the Church, the Bride of Christ, truly ready or just assuming she is ready to meet her Bridegroom? Also, how is she to make ready in the sea of much information and misinformation today? What is the right response to the many end-time signs and prophetic declarations?
With these thoughts in mind, Henson shared 7 messages over the 3-day 2-night event on 18th-20th October 2025 at Harris Hotel Batam Centre, including:
R ETURN to the King
E NGAGE in the Father’s business
A LIGN with the kingdom
D ISCERN the times
Y EARN for the Bridegroom

Each morning, the participants would gather in their own groups to process and share their takeaways. This allowed them to raise questions they have, as well as engage with and pray for each other. Some groups even continued to meet and discuss during their free time!

A Cantonese-Speaking Group!
One of the unique things about this AWE was having a group made up entirely of Cantonese-speaking participants led by Ruby Woo, our AAKO-Hong Kong partner.

Eager to learn more about being awakened, assigned and aligned for God, they signed up for AWE2025 after attending the AAA Seminar in Hong Kong held early August 2025.
Ruby said,
“This year is a special year for AAKO-Hong Kong. We have our own Cantonese group of 8! It is a remarkable and significant milestone for Hong Kong!”
Amillennialism, Pre-millennialism and Other Eschatological Terms
Since the theme was about Making Ready for our King, there was a fun poll right at the start to find out if the group knew what the various end-time positions are and which position they hold to. It was a fun moment with lots of laughter as the answers populated the slide.
What Did They Learn at AWE?

Here are what some of the first timers to AWE had to say about their experience.
Samuel Mo (Covenant Evangelical Free Church) was reminded that “my own family is an assignment too.” He confessed that as a social worker,
“in wanting to make a difference to the families out there, I have become indifferent to the family (assignment) I have at home.”
God nudged Carmen Chan (The Vine, HK) to,
“Make space for the Lord. Don’t get distracted. Do the thing that God has given to you to do.”
Shirleen Ong’s (Lighthouse Evangelism) said the Lord
“reminded and showed me that He wanted to heal and bring me comfort in order to prepare me for my next assignment. But first, He wanted to align and re-align me with His heart.”
Bianca Coyuco’s (The Church In Singapore) takeaway was to
“Get your reference point right before you can be aligned, be able to discern and signs are here to direct us to Christ’s return not distract.”
Those Who Have Come Again and Again
Repeat AWE participants shared that they learnt new things too.
Rebecca Siow, St John’s Chapel (2nd AWE) shared,
“I wasn’t planning to come but was prompted to ask my dad if he wanted to come. So since he said yes I had to come along too.”
She felt that this AWE was different from the previous one she attended and felt the Lord speaking to her to get read to start her assignment.
Eithae, Chapel of the Resurrection (2nd AWE) said,
“Achieving alignment involves seeking guidance from Jesus and ensuring actions align with one’s purpose.”
Gideon Chong, Church of Singapore, Balestier (3rd AWE) laughingly said,
“I came for the teaching to encounter God but I also know that there would be a time for fellowship, food and fun!”
Kim Hong, Covenant Evangelical Free Church (4th AWE) had not planned to come, but when she kept being asked if she was going to AWE, she realised that she needed to attend it. And as she facilitated one of the groups, her heart went out to the younger ones, and she realised that she needed to model living on assignment for them.
Covered in Prayer
Worshipping in music and prayer was powerful. Each session began and ended with worship in song and prayer.

In fact prayer had been offered up to the Lord for AWE2025 since March 2025, months before AWE came to pass. And on the ground, there were prayer warriors who gathered before the start of each day to pray and ask the Lord for His presence to be made manifest amongst His people.
We are grateful that He graciously answered our prayers and his people were ministered to.

AAKO Partners
We are so glad to have our AAKO* Partners James Lee from Sabah Malaysia, Ruby Woo from Hong Kong, and Zandra and Steve Senar from Dubai, UAE join us yet again. Together, they have attended 17 AWEs!!!

Zandra and Ruby have attended 3 online and 3 onsite AWEs since 2020. Zandra says she loves coming back to attend AWE because she said it is
“like a homecoming to the Archippian family.”
Ruby says she says she looks forward to coming back to serve and to build intimate relationship with Jesus. She shares that each time she returns she feels joyful and enjoys the fellowship.
“I love the Archippian family so much!”
This is James’ 5th AWE. He sees attending AWE as a way to keep on walking with the kingdom community as well as an opportunity to check his own alignment.
“It is a time where you find encouragement, fellowship, and the joy of meeting fellow soldiers.”
A fun fact about James, Ruby and Zandra – they met each other online at MAP 4.0 in 2020. And it was only at AWE2023 that they met each other in person!
*AAKO stands for Archippus Awakening Kingdom Outposts. These are our kingdom partners who are committed to echoing the message of Archippus Awakening in their own countries so that more can be awakened, aligned and assigned to fulfil their kingdom assignments.
“Alignment Matters” Panel Discussion
The afternoon of Day 2 saw Rebecca Siow (St John’s Chapel) helming the “Alignment Matters” Panel Discussion while Ps Jireh Chee (New Destiny Fellowship International), Eng Hui Shan (Lighthouse Evangelism) and Lena Soh (Cornerstone) shared their alignment journeys and fielded questions from the participants who wanted to know how MAP can help them.

MAP stands for the Mentoring Aligning Process, a 7-month aligning initiative of Archippus Awakening, carefully structured and designed to help awakened individuals with the checking of alignment based on the A-R-E-A framework.
As we make ready to meet our King, it is important to constantly check our alignment with the King. As James Cheong (St James St Margaret’s Church) reminded us “Alignment has to start from Jesus and not my own preferences.”
Ps Jireh shared,
“I knew my assignment, but still needed alignment. I needed clarity in assignment. I had become the older brother in the Prodigal Son parable. How I viewed ministry was wrong. MAP helped me realign.”
Lena realised that,
“Even while on assignment, and being obedient, my love for the Lord has grown cold. I focused on going and obeying but the love for Jesus grew cold. Then serving became a bit of a drudgery. As we aligned, God showed me my assignment. Then I realised I have a big misalignment. I had to work with the Lord to deal with it so that I won’t become bitter when I grow old.”
Hui Shan said,
“Identity in Christ is something that I struggled with. I needed to realign and get right with God instead of allowing the same feelings to surface over and over.”
Clarity & Direction
Many had come hoping to find clarity and direction and went away receiving both, as well as affirmation. A few received confirmation of their kingdom assignments.
Archippus Awakening is grateful and privileged to have played a part in helping saints know and fulfil their God-given kingdom assignments through AWE2025.
To God be the glory!
