My Archippian Story – David Victor
Having grown up in church, I have had many opportunities to serve in the church in different departments but especially in the area of sound setup and the playing of instruments, I came to know about Pastor Henson and Archippus Awakening in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown through my brother Juuko Dennis. He had met Ps Henson in Singapore when he attended Tung Ling Bible School.
I have attended and served in church for a long time so that by the time of the COVID-19 lockdown, when the whole world paused and church buildings were closed, I was already getting tired of the usual church activities and I was feeling that I needed something more. But I didn’t know what. So I spent my personal time in prayer asking God for the next step and that was when my brother Juuko came and shared with me about Archippus Awakening. My first reaction was to refuse his invitation! But later on, I decided to give it a try, and little did I know that it was the message I was looking for!
When I heard pastor Henson sharing, the Lord awakened me to my identity in Him, because during that time I had an identity crisis where I felt less sure of myself because of my background. I was also awakened to the call to take up Kingdom Assignments and not just participate in Christian Activities.
This touched my heart especially because I had been so caught up in Christian activities. I was very busy but I was not fruitful. I realised that I had a volunteer mentality whereby I served when I can and felt like doing it and I wouldn’t serve if I didn’t feel like serving.
This showed that I lacked an assignment culture mindset which is to serve faithfully in my kingdom assignments, regardless of how I felt. I realised that this was a misalignment in my walk with God.
Through Archippus Awakening’s messages and teachings, I learnt that I had to personally align to my King for my personal assignments. I also dropped the volunteer mentality and picked up the assignment culture: I served on activities like I was on assignment, and this drew me closer to my King.
Also, knowing that I am a soldier in the Lord’s Army opened my eyes to serving differently with my fellow soldiers – we are serving alongside each other and not against each other.
Today I can confidently declare that:
I AM ARCHIPPUS. AWAKENED! ALIGNED! ASSIGNED!
Let’s build the arc.
My Archippian Story – Margaret Nantumbwe (Margie)
In March 2018, our church had a daily worship altar and towards its end, I went into a trance. In the revelation, I appeared before the throne of God and my garments were changed and I was given a staff with a Joshua 1:6 Scripture. God had assigned me a people to whom I must lead to receive their inheritance that God has given to them.
“Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.”
But because I didn’t know what to do, I went into a quiet prayer phase. In 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, I joined Ps Stella in a prayer marathon. Then God made it clear in a dream who the people are He has called me to – youths and children. After this revelation, I got really excited, but I still didn’t know what to do and how to do this.
Then God connected me to His servant Juuko Dennis. It’s through Dennis that the message about fulfilling my assignment became clear. Leading the youths to receive their inheritance meant that they had to be first Awakened, then Aligned, so that they can live out their called purposed destinies (Assignments).
Attending the Say to Archippus Process (STAP) further helped me apply the right words in counselling and guidance that will help youths and children come to realise that they, too, have a kingdom assignment. It has been instrumental in how I counsel and guide those who come my way.
My Archippian Story – Mardy Villon-Olindan
My Christian journey began in 1995 when I got to know Jesus and got baptised, believing it was a requirement. I was so on fire for Him until I lost my brother in 1996. Along with him, the fire in me also died down. My faith flatlined.
I came to Dubai in 2005 and did not attend church for 9 years until 2014, when I rejoined the church. In 2015, we became part of a multi-national church. I served in almost every ministry except the music ministry: the welcome team, ushering, food ministry, kids’ ministry, etc. But then I felt so burnt out.
Then I went to live with the Senars and Ps Zandra introduced me to Say To Archippus Processing (STAP), and my Archippian journey began.
Ps. Zandra did her best to help me, but I didn’t take it seriously, although I had the audacity to say I am “Awakened! Aligned! Assigned!” Actually, I was only awakened, was sort of aligned, went misaligned, then had to re-align. It was a cycle I went through repeatedly, and I never realised my assignment. I even went back to sleep!
Fast forward to 2023, when my husband arrived to join me in Dubai, I took STAP (again!) with him and our good friend, Lea. The Lord awakened me again, and this time, I totally get it. In order for me to receive my assignment, I decided to de-align from myself and begin to align to Christ as my King, obeying what He says to me.
Recently, I co-facilitated a STAP session. As I processed with the team, my assignment became so clear to me! It was something I had been dodging because I found it absurd and too difficult to do. But that was because my focus was on myself, my abilities, and my lack of knowledge in God’s word. My reference point should be on Christ. “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” (Luke 18:27).
I realised that all that has happened to me is but part of the process to train me as a fellow soldier in the Lord’s Army. The Lord has been very patient with me, refining me to become more and more like Him. I receive His grace to empower me, and may He find me faithful this time to fulfil my God-given Kingdom assignment.
Now I can truly say,
I AM ARCHIPPUS. AWAKENED! ALIGNED! ASSIGNED!
