  1. Where is the venue of AWE2023?
    The event will be held at Harmoni One Convention Hotel, Batam, Indonesia.

  2. When is AWE2023?
    AWE2023 is a 3-day-2-night event: 12-14 May 2023.

    Departure from Singapore is at 10.20am on 12 May (Friday).
    Check-in Time at Harbourfront Centre is at 9am.
    Return to Singapore (Harbourfront Centre) at 5.20pm on 14 May (Sunday).

  3. Do I have a choice in rooming selection?
    Yes, you have the options of Single (S$460/person) and Twin-sharing (S$360/person); subject to availability.

  4. What do the fees cover?
    Accommodation at Harmoni One Convention Hotel, 2-way ferry service between Singapore and Batam, all meals during AWE2023.

  1. What is the closing date for registration?
    Registration closes on 10 April 2023.

  3. What information is required for registration?
    Please have the following information ready for registration:
    • Full Name (as in Passport)
    • Date of Birth
    • Passport Number
    • Date of Issue
    • Date of Expiry
    • Digital Copy of Passport to be submitted via email for collection of ferry tickets

  4. I am having difficulties registering, can someone help me?
    Please write to events@archippusawakening.org or call 9351-8232 if you require assistance. The Team will assist you with the registration.

  5. I would like a twin-sharing room but I have no room-mate. Will the organisers help me find one?
    The Team will do our best to pair you with a room-mate.

Payment

  1. What are the fees for AWE2023?
    The fees include 2-way ferry transfer between Singapore & Batam, accommodation for 2 nights, 2 breakfast, 3 lunches and 2 dinners. The fees are as follows:
    1. Single: S$460
    2. Twin-sharing: S$360

  2. When do I need to pay?
    All registrants are to complete payment within 2 days of registration. Registration will be confirmed upon full receipt of payment. You will receive an acknowledgement email after registration with follow-up instructions for payment.

  3. How do I pay for AWE2023?
    Payment of fees can be done via PAYNOW or Bank Transfer.

  4. Will I be reimbursed for payment if I am unable to attend the AWE2023 due to unforeseen circumstances like COVID-19?
    We encourage all to purchase your own travel insurance upon signing up for AWE2023 to cover for any unforeseen circumstances. We seek your understanding that we will not be providing a refund for cancellations.

COVID-19 Measures

Please note that these guidelines may change subject to the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the country.

  1. What if I test COVID-19 positive on the day of departure?
    For the safety of yourself and the others, please do not attend AWE2023. Please inform the team via email and proceed to inform your travel insurance to make a claim.

  2. What happens if I test COVID-19 positive during AWE2023?
    To minimise the risk of spreading to the others, you will be transferred to a separate room for isolation and will not be allowed to join any further activities. We will seek the advice of the in-house doctors and advise on next steps. We seek your understanding on this matter.

  3. Is there any pre-departure testing requirement for entering Batam?

Travel Insurance & Visa

  1. Insurance
    All participants are strongly recommended to purchase your own travel insurance upon receiving the confirmation for registration to ensure coverage for any unforeseen circumstances leading up to and during AWE2023.

  2. Visa Application
    All participants shall be responsible for any visa application if required. Please visit the requirements on entering Indonesia here.
